About MK CIL MK CIL is an information centre offering a very wide range of free and confidential information on any disability related issue for disabled people, their families, carers, and anyone else with an interest in the field of disability. The centre compromises of a team of hard-working volunteers, most of whom have a disability themselves. The volunteers are supported by our Information Services co-ordinator, Angela Doherty. The overall management of the service is the responsibility of the manager, Diane Gordon. The organisation is governed by a Board of Directors made up of at least 50% local disabled people and other members of the local community who have relevant expertise. The current chair of MK CIL is Annette Holcroft. The aim of MK CIL is to inform and empower by giving information and support to significantly contribute to the lifestyle and independence of disabled people. Our service is friendly and is responsive to individual needs. |
