Dear Wendy,

I hope you and George are well.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for your kind hospitality during my stay. It was not easy for me working away from my family for 4 months. However, being looked after so well during my stay with you at Conifers made it a better experience. I shall miss those cooked breakfasts. Thanks again,

Barry.

Best B&B in Milton Keynes

I have stayed at the Wendy's B&B twice this year and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a clean and friendly B&B in Milton Keynes. The rooms and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with lots of attention paid to the little details. The full english breakfast is the best I have eaten so far in any B&B and even though I couldn't manage a "full" breakfast every morning it was really great on the mornings that I did try it. While staying over one weekend Wendy even did some washing for me which was really appreciated. A little bit of home away from home.

My stay at Conifers: Summer 2008

I arrived in the UK at the beginning of summer 08. After a bad experience i was forced to look for alternative accommodation. I telephoned a number of places to stay that night, and after several refusals I contacted Wendy and George the owner's of a Local B&B. After telling them my story, they invited me to stay in their home until i managed to find a suitable place to live. Well i honestly couldn't say that i would have been looked after any better in a five star hotel. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and kept me going until nearly late evening. I had full access to broadband, my room was immaculately clean on my return in the evening. Hot baths and fresh linen were also readily available at my request. What more could you ask for?

The city centre is only a short 15-20 min walk from the guesthouse via the Redway, and Great food is served all day long at a beautiful pub called the barge which is located just around the corner. The wonderful and very spectacular Willen Lake is also within spitting distance of the B&B.(A must see for any newcomers to MK!) I really couldn't wish to have met two nicer people than Wendy and George they did absolutely everything to make my stay a very enjoyable and memorable time. I would easily rate Conifers, the best B&B in Milton Keynes by far.

I stayed at the Conifers for 4 weeks as I did an internship not far away from the Centre.
Wendy and George's B&B is definitely one of the best I could ever think of!

Wendy's Service not only includes the pick up service from the nearby national express station, but
also her "full English" is a dream of a breakfast; all the rooms are very clean; you can use the laundry facilities whenever you'd like to (washing machine and dryer) and wireless internet is also provided!

Woolstone is a very lovely area with a nice pub nearby (2min walk) which I really can recommend to go and eat there!
Woolstone is probably 3 minutes (by car)away from the big shopping malls; ~15minutes walk! There is also a nice cinema and the clubs in the theatre district are amazing!!!

The country site is very beautiful, and especially Willen lake is an absolutely must for runners! (~3min walking distance)

Generally speaking, I was very lucky to stay at Wendy's as they both were very friendly and warm-hearted.

Just book it, and I promise you will be entirely satisfied!

If there is a possibility to come back to the UK, I will definitely rebook this wonderful “B&B”. Wendy treat her guests with a lot of care and love.

I believe that I was extremely fortunate to pass by Wendy & George’s guesthouse while looking to lodge my parents and grandparents who were visiting me here in Milton Keynes for a 10-days duration. Without thinking twofold I booked all three rooms (1 double, 1 twin & 1 single)! The atmosphere was fantastic thanks to the hospitality of Wendy & George. They are extremely charming and loving people who really take very good care of their guests while trying to please each and every one. The house itself is very pleasant with a nice garden. As for breakfast, it was indeed a delightful start to each and every day with a wide selection of choices to meet each and everyone’s taste.
I really thank them so much for their friendship and hospitality. They have provided me with the best possible setting to stay with my parents after almost a year of not seeing them but still feeling at home.
Thanks a lot.

The people are so friendly who made me feel at home. I am an Asian vegetarian who was fully satisfied with the breakfast.

I had my own private Garden, the bathroom was immaculate with POWER SHOWER and all the other utilities.

I will strongly recommend anyone (ie) all ages to book at the Conifers in Woolstone.

The course was for two weeks and being a woman on my own I was a bit worried about where to stay, but I need not have worried, Wendy and George made me feel like one of the family in their lovely bungalow that seemed to go on for ever. It was a lovely stay and whenever I felt a little lonely, Wendy would be there with her cheery nature and a little chat. George also helped me when my tyre was flat, nothing was too much bother. The owners, Wendy and George, make you feel as if nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortably furnished, with TV, tea/coffee, etc. The bathroom is excellent. As for breakfast? Fit for a king! Conifers is situated close to Central Milton Keynes, the M1 m'way, and yet belongs to the historical village of Woolstone. Two minutes walk from Conifers, is the Barge Inn, a traditional pub, which offers excellent food. If you fancy a walk, beautiful Willen Lake is a three minute walk away.
