Aaah maggots! Rotting left-over cooked food is yummy for flies. The solution here is to not to buy or prepare what you can't eat. Do a bit of portion oontrol! How many spoons of mash and beans and eggs and sausages and pasta can you and your family really eat? (Do you boil one spud per person or five?)

You may consider harvesting they wigglies for fishermen or the local hospital for biodebridement or biosurgery (yuk).
